Mother

Today I was sitting there thinking.....I am almost a mother.  What does that mean to me?  It means a lot.  When I think of a mother I think of wiping tears away, changing diapers, rocking baby to sleep, singing lullabys, sharing everything, tickling toes, reading the same book over and over again, playing peek a boo, chasing naked bums around the house, and so much more.  All of these things are important.  Over all though I hope I can be a loving, sharing, caring, good mother.  I hope I can love him and give him everything he needs.  Teach him to love the Lord and be a good person.  I already love this little boy so much.  Jesse and I are very excited for this little spirit to enter into our lives.  We feel so blessed that the Lord trusts us with this little spirit.  I pray we can raise him the way the Lord needs us to.
This precious baby has already taught me so much just being inside of me.  Whenever I feel a little kick I remember what is important in life.  It isn't about how pretty your hair is, how big your house is or how much money you make.  It's so much more and this little boy reminds me of that.  Jesse has taught me so much too, he is such a wonderful man.  He has taught me to not stress the small stuff, learn to laugh at yourself, don't take everything so serious, never raise your voice, do your best always and just enjoy life  :)  I love this man.  I'm so grateful he picked me to his wife.
I love Jesse

Summer Sun

The Fourth of July was a lot of fun.  We went to Laura's house on the 3rd and had a little camp out in the backyard.  Steve set up the tv outside and all the kids huddled around to watch a movie while others were inside coloring a huge pioneer poster that Laura bought.  I will admit the poster was my favorite part.  When Kayla colored a boy with a green face I quickly said, "she ruined our masterpiece!"  Someone said that pioneers got sick all the time though and this kid was definitively sick.  Ha ha we all laughed.  The poster looked great!
Jesse and I even set up our little tent and slept outside.  It was fun to sleep outside and hard at the same time, being 8 months pregnant.  I woke up about ten times, but it was worth it.  In the morning Laura had a yummy breakfast.  Including; pancakes, bacon, fruit, egg mcmuffins and eggs.  Jesse I think had ten pancakes  :)  His favorite.
On the fourth Jesse and I went with Chuck, Jacob, Melanie, Jake and Ethan to a little lake in Honeyville.  They all skiied as I watched, they all did great!  We liked the paddle boat and the ramp.  The ramp was fun to slide down on.  We did that over and over again.  Fun fun day at the lake!  When we got back Lori had made a delicious meal.  We ate under the fireworks, which was so cool!  Then to top off the night Jacob did a great firework show for us out front.  Fun day!

I also went to Lagoon this past week.  It was fun to watch the kids on the rides.  Jade was funny.  She hated the rides and would cry on them, then she would want to go again!  Ha!  I got to ride the merry go round.  Whooo hoo.   Ha.  It was fun.
