Dawson has a brother!

Well baby boy decided to arrive four days early! He is here and we love love love him! He was born on October 24, 2014 at 11:28 a.m. He was 7 lbs. 3 oz. 21 1/2 inches long. I went into labor the night before and got the hospital around 12:30 that night. Than I was at about a 8 at 9 the night morning, but the babies heart rate wasn't looking great and I wasn't progressing, so it was c section time! I was alright with this, I really just wanted a healthy happy baby.
Jesse and I decided on the name Blake Charles. :)
He is a really good baby so far. He is eating well and loves to sleep! Yea!
We love you baby boy and are so glad you are here to be with us.
Dawson wasn't sure about him at first, but now he walks around the house and every three seconds, says, where is baby?! He loves him. The other night Jesse was going to go and take Dawson to get the car washed and Dawson said, "come on baby, let's go!" I had to explain that baby was going to stay here with me. :) such a cutie.
My family has helped a ton! I am very grateful that they have taken Dawson a lot of the time so that I can rest. I'll post some pics later!

We love October

Just the three of us watching Dawson's new favortie show, Barney. (I wish he liked something else better, but oh well :)

We are getting excited to meet baby brother.....Dawson and him are already buddies.

I'm due in about two weeks!

We have been up to some fun stuff lately! Like our annual Halloween party at RaNae's house! We were sad that Daddy couldn't make it.

Dawson was a froggie. For one second! He hated it and ripped it off fast!

Mommy was a spider!

We all had a good time! Yummy food, a few games and lots of chatting! :)

Katie and I took our kids to a little pumpkin patch about a week ago and it was so much fun. The boys loved it! There were tractors, animals, swings and a hay ride! We also got to pick out a pumpkin to bring home. It was so fun. Dawson sat on every tractor about fifty times. :)

Night time runs to Target with Mel and Dawson are the best. :) Mel pushed us around and Dawson couldn't stop laughing when Mel would run into things. Haha!

Babies room is looking great! Mel helped me pick out all the decor and Jesse helped me put it all on the wall! I love it! The dresser was a pain to set up, but Jesse did such a good job! I love the dresser!

Daddy and Dawson love to go for bike rides together at night. Jesse rides his unicycle and Dawson rides his bike :)

Conference morning I made pumpkin pancakes and the boys loved them.

Well Jesse loved them, Dawson only loved the whip cream. :) Stinker...

The PJ party

One night in December Amy and I were hanging out and we got a text saying there was a PJ Christmas party at a house nearby. Amy and I decided to go and see if it was any fun. We didn't have time to get into pjs, but we decided to go anyways. When we got inside, we started dancing and having a good time.

Then Amy and I met one of Jesse's friends, he said it would be fun to go dancing sometime with Amy and I. He told me that I should go and convince his friend, Jesse, to come along. So he pointed to a tall, handsome, dark haired man in a blue robe. That is Jesse he said. So I headed over his way. Yes I was the one to go up to him. :) I tapped his shoulder and said, "hey I just met your friend, we should go dancing sometime!" (I know, I know, WAY forward of me! hahaha! ) He said "Sure, I'm part cowboy." I said oh really? ha! Than he went on to tell me that he had ridden a bull about a week ago. He pulled out his phone and showed me a video of him on a huge bull! I was very impressed! Than somehow or another the conversation ended and I didn't talk to him the rest of the night. I honestly thought I'd never see Jesse again. I am so grateful that I did see him again! One thing I remember from that night though is something that Jesse's friend said. We were talking and he pointed to Jesse and said, " It doesn't get better than Jesse, there is no one better." I thought to myself wow he must really be an amazing guy....... well he is amazing and his friend was right. It doesn't get better than Jesse.

Anyways......the story goes on that Jesse asked his friend for my number and Jesse called and asked me out. :) I'm so grateful for him and I love him so much!
