Annie the Nanny

On Thursday I worked my last day with my nanny family that I have been with for four years.  I was kind of sad all day.  I did enjoy my day with Piper though.  We did what we always do.  We went to the park, fed the ducks, played in her driveway, blew bubbles, chased Dawson and just played all day.  As the day drew to a close I knew I was going to cry.  I was doing great until I hugged Brody, than I just lost it.  I started to cry.  I gave Kevin a hug and than I had to go find the hardest person to say bye to, my Piper.  I found her outside and she gave Dawson and I the best hug she's ever given.  I will miss this family.  My family.
I have watched Piper since she was 2 months old.  Let me tell you a little about this little firecracker.  She is adorable.  She is such a spunky, fun little girl.  She was a wonderful little baby.  She would slept great, eat good and loved to be snuggled.  I watched her full time for two years.  When I got pregnant with Dawson I stopped watching her full time towards the end of the pregnancy.  This was really hard on me to not watch her everyday.  I was grateful when they let me come back part time with Dawson.  I really feel like she is my sweet little girl.  I really believe she helped me learn how to be a mom even before I was a mom to Dawson.  She walked the day she turned one, she loves Mickey Mouse and Doc Mcstuffins, she is not shy at all and you will find her singing and dancing most of the time, she loves Dawson and calls him Dawcie.
Brody is not shy at all either, I remember when he was a little younger anywhere we would go he would instantly make friends and often times want me to get mothers phone numbers for "play dates".  He is a very determined little boy.  We played a game where I would say, "Guess what Brody?"  He'd say "what"?  "I love you," I'd reply.  Than he would say it back and he would laugh and laugh.  He loves Piper, Dawson, his video games, and he always told me that I made the best mac n cheese in the world along with peanut butter bananas.
I love these kids so much.  I hope to keep in touch with them.  They have taught me so much and I am so grateful that the Lord placed them in my life.  I needed them just as much as they needed me.  I will always a place in my heart for my Brody and Piper.

Lately....

Well I haven't posed in a long time!  We have been busy little people lately!  Having a 20 month old means being busy all the time!  They are so much fun and Dawson is definitly go go go!  First of all we painted our kitchen wall and I love it!  It was red and I was sick of it so we painted it blue.

I think it looks a million times better!  It made the room look bigger and brighter!  Thank you Jesse you are amazing!

Dawson is cuter than ever......
He is a wild one!

He is a climber, I have to keep my eye on this kid!

Friday night Jesse ran with Dawson in the stroller and I rode my bike.  It was fun.  I love that the weather is getting nice!  We would stop at parks and let Dawson get out and play.  He loves slides and running around.

We just got done listening to conference and it was really good.  (It is much harder to listen to when your little boy is climbing on your head!)  I wouldn't want it anyother way though.  I look forward to when they have it in the Ensign!
After conference I decided to make up some edible paint and see if Dawson is creative!  He is....

Jesse was liking it too!  At one point it kind of became a science experiment with the boys....hahah!

We had fun making a mess!  :)
Anyways....that's all for today!  I've got to go chase my little monster!
