Brighton Cabin

    Jesse, Dawson, Lori, Chuck, Jacob, Jake, Melanie, Ethen, Jennica, Brad, Addie and I just got back from spending three days up at the Flamm Brighton Cabin.  It was so much fun.  It is sooo pretty up there too.  We got up there Saturday night and had pizza and hung out.  The boys all went on a bike ride and the girls all went on a nice little hike up to dog lake.  It was really pretty and fun.  We stayed up till about 12 and played games. The next day we went to church and than just hung out all day.  It was nice and relaxing.  Dawson loved it up there.  We brought him his bike and he loved riding that in the dirt.  He loved playing with Addie as well.  He was saying "Addie" contantly.

We played a lot of ladder ball as well.  The boys were funny and would play high stakes.  Meaning the losing team would have to put there feet in the river for one minute.  I could barely last 20 seconds!  It was freezing!

On Monday the girls did a cute craft for the 4th of july.  They are firecrackers made out of wood.  Really cute.  IT was nice of Lori to get us all the supplies for them!

Jesse, Dawson and I hiked up to lake mary on monday night.  It was really pretty and a good hike.  Dawson loved the back pack carrier that Jenn and Brad let us barrow.  Than Monday night we stayed up late again playing games.  We had a good time, lots of laughs and yummy treats.
It was a wonderful weekend.

Tomorrow.....

    Jesse comes home tomorrow and Dawson and I are very excited!  2 weeks is way too long!  We have missed him!
   Today Barb gave him a haircut and it was soooo stinking cute.  He sat there so well!  He was holding 2 tractors, so he was in heaven!  He kept smiling the whole time!

Anyways....random post.  We are excited for Daddy to come home though!  :)

silly boy

     This silly little boy was being a cutie last night.  We went on a little bike ride and than he didn't want to take his helmet off.  (He never wants it off!)  Silly boy.  So we colored with chalk with his helmet on  :)

After we went in the backyard and this little boy can spot a ripe strawberry from a mile away!  Right when they are red they are picked by this little boy  :)  "Ummy"  he says.

The other night Grandpa came and mowed the lawn with Dawson on his back!  It was so cute!!!!  Thanks Grandpa!  Dawson loved it and kept saying "lawn mower" the whole time!

Lagoon fun

Laura, Derek, Kaylee, Rach, Barb, Jensen, Jade, my Mom, Dawson and I went to Lagoon!  It was so much fun.  Dawson was in heaven!  He loved the rides!  It was so much fun watching him enjoy them.  

Kaylee was a big helper.  She loved to take Dawson on the rides with her!  She was such a cutie!  He loves her.  He loved this Jeep ride so much.  "car!"

My mom, Jade, Rach, Jensen, Dawson and I went and walked around Pioneer village for a while.  Jade and Rach were so cute.  They couldn't believe all the old stuff and they were actually really interesed in it!  They were being naughty for a while so we put them in jail.  ;)  I had to go in first to show them that it wasn't that scary and that I wouldn't lock it.  haha

They thought this old phone was so cool.  Jade wanted to talk foever  :)

Summer is here

   Summer is here and we are loving it!  Summer is my favorite time of the year!  I love pool days, BBQs, bike rides, tramps, hot cement, splash pads, popsicles, sprinklers, little chubby toes in flip flops, and so much more!  Dawson and I are having fun.  Today we went to the splash pad, which he loves!  Jesse, Dawson and I have been to 7 peaks once too.  Dawson loves the big slides with Daddy.  Jesse said that the whole way down Dawson says, "Whoa, whoa, whoa."  Such a funny little boy.  We are already loving everyday!

      This is Dawson with his first popsicle.  He loved it.  He liked sharing with us too.

I love mornings.  Dawson wakes up and we read books in my bed.  He loves it!  He ususally has to have a tractor or truck by him as we read  :)

Than we go downstairs and eat some cereal.  His new thing is putting all his trucks and tractors on the window seal.  I think it's cute....

Happy boy

Boy

     Well Dawson is getting a baby brother!  We are all very excited!  I am 19 weeks tomorrow and feeling a lot better lately.
He is going to be a great brother

I love the boys in my life and can't wait for the third little man to get here!  :)

Baby animals

     A few weekends ago Jesse and I took Dawson up to see the baby animals at a little farm in Kaysville.  Lori, Chuck, Melanie, and Ethen came too.  It was fun to watch Dawson poke at the animals.  I'm not quite sure if he liked them.  He did like that train they had though!  He loved riding this little train with Daddy!  He kept waving at us as he would go by.  So cute.  I love watching little kids grow up and learn.  Ethen loved the snake!  He was very brave and held them!  I held a little one, Melanie was scared of them.  :)  She did poke one with her finger though!  Very brave!
    After we went to Jesse's parents house and ate yummy food and hung out.  Later that night Jennica came and suprised her mom for mothers day!  It was so much fun having Jenn here.  Wish her and Addie lived much closer.
