Crazy week

Wow this past week was crazy!  I watched my nanny kids for nine whole days!  The parents were out of town.  Brody and Piper were so fun to be around, I had missed them a lot and I'm excited to be back with them.  They absolutely love Dawson.  They loved holding him.  Brody's favorite thing was to read to him.  So cute!  Piper would sing him songs when he would cry.  They are adorable.
   Our Little pumpkin.......

When I put this outfit on Dawson Jesse just said "Oh boy."  hahaha!  I think he thinks I have too much fun with this little guy.
This next picture is what happens when I leave Jesse and Dawson alone.  I was laughing so hard!
Than another night I found Jesse upstairs and he had put Dawson in my pillow all wrapped up!

Jesse and I spoke in church today and I really felt the spirit so strong.  Jesse is an amazing man and I'm so grateful to have these two handsome men in my life!
     Ready for church!
We went up the canyon again and it was so fun to walk around.  It was pretty too.
                                                         Family Picture!!!!
It was fun bundling him up!  He wore his sweater for the first time!
I will admit, Jesse and I still both want to push the stroller all the time, so we have to take turns.  It's hard!  Ha!  I know we are silly  :)

Dawson is so funny.  This tiny little bottle is the only bottle he likes!  He won't take any other one!  So Jesse and I have to fill it up lots!  ha!

Our sleeping angel.

Jesse's mom made Dawson this cute hat! She made him a blue one....but it didn't fit.  He has gotten so big!  We had to steal Ethen's hat!

Well we got a crib.  I was so excited.....and than I realized he won't sleep by me anymore.  I don't know how I feel about this.....ha!  So .....he hasn't slept in it yet (only naps) and I don't know if he ever will.  Jk, he will....but I don't know when.  :)

                                                            Have a good week!!!!!

Fall

Fall is here!  That means some of the best things ever!  Pumpkin carving contests, orange everything, beautiful leaves, pumpkin cookies, costumes, hot coco, snuggling, warm jammies, haunted houses and so much more!  Fall is fun for me, it is also hard for me too....it means winter is on it's way.  I hate winter.  I'm convinced that Jesse and I need to move somewhere warm someday.  Maybe he'll give in..... Hawaii sounds nice.  :)  haha!  I don't think that this winter will be as bad this year though, cuz I have a little boy to stay home with and just do fun stuff!
Anyways this week has been fun.  Jesse, Dawson and I went up the canyon and enjoyed the wonderful fall leaves.  It was so pretty and so much fun to see Jesse carry Dawson around in his little carrier.
                                                                  Dawson's hiding
                                                                         Hoodies!

We are good at using the self timer!

This past Monday Dawson went into the doctor for his 2 month check up.  He had his shots.  So sad!  He screamed really good, but only for a second.  When I picked him up he stopped immediately.  He is such a tough little guy.  The hard part was after.  He got a fever and I could tell he wasn't feeling good cuz he wasn't my same little happy monster.  He was fussy and didn't eat well all day and night.  Here is a pic of his sad little band-aid thigh.

I really love just taking a good afternoon nap with my favorite snuggle buddy.
Here is a pic of him with the blanket I made in mutual a long time ago.  I hoped I would someday have a baby!  :)

My mom showed me this poem and now I love it.  It's so true that babies don't keep.  Which makes me sad!  I love my baby.

Mother, O' Mother, come shake out your cloth,
Empty the dustpan, poison the moth.
Hang out the washing, make up the bed,
Sew on a button and butter the bread.

Where is the mother whose house is so shocking?
She's up in the nursery, blissfully rocking.

Oh, I've grown as shiftless as Little Boy Blue,
Lullaby, rockaby, lullaby loo.
Dishes are waiting and bills are past due,
Pat-a-cake, darling, and peek - peekaboo.

The shopping's not done and there's nothing for stew,
And out in the yard there's a hullabaloo.
But I'm playing Kanga and this is my Roo.
Look! Aren't his eyes the most wonderful hue?
Lullaby, rockaby, lullaby loo.

The cleaning and scrubbing can wait till tomorrow,
But children grow up, as I've learned to my sorrow.
So quiet down cobwebs; Dust go to sleep!
I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep.

Enjoying every second of this little guy!

                                                           Dawson loves his bouncer!
my foot next to his....I think he is going to pass me up fast!
I was having way too much fun and put him in this little basket and he loved it!  He was so funny.  He was smiling and looked soooo relaxed!
 Have a happy day!

Hanging around

    Look at this picture.......

Did you smile?!?!  I knew ya would.  I mean how can you look at this and not smile back?!  :)

The other morning I came into my room to find this.....

Dawson sleeping on our bed.  It was so cute, I just had to take a picture.  As you can see I love taking pictures of this little guy.  He is so much fun.  The other day Jesse said, "you are so lucky you get to hang out with Dawson all day long."  I said, "I know."  :)   I am so lucky.

Since I do get him all day, when Jesse comes home I can hardly hold him cuz Jess wants to.  It's adorable.  He loves his little man.

Dawson is growing!  He is almost too big for his baby cradle!  We need a crib, and soon.

I will be sad when he doesn't sleep by my side anymore.  I love being able to wake up and peak over at him.  It was funny, the first couple of nights he slept in this cradle, Jesse noticed something.  One night laying in bed Jesse said listen....."thunk, thunk, thunk."  His arms hit the sides of the wood and make that noise.  I will miss that noise!  But for now.....he is still sleeping by me.  :)

So Halloween is right around the corner.  I am excited and I have been searching for a cute costume for Dawson.  Found one!  Here is a sneak peak!  Can you guess what he is going to be?!

The other night Dawson rolled up like a little rolly polly.

He has also discovered his hands and loves to suck on them.  I'm just waiting for the day he finds his thumb!

Have a good weekend!   Smile :)

Our Little Guy.....

So basically I can't get enough of our little Dawson!  He is such a sweet little baby!  We are loving him sooo much that I just have to post some more cute pictures of our handsome little guy.  He is smiling all the time!!!  As you can see.....

I wrote a little poem for my little man.....
I love you more than words can say,
                             I love you more everyday,
I loved you than and I love you still,
                             I always will,
                             That will never change,
                             My baby boy Dawson,
                              I love watching you blossom,
                              I love to hold you,
I love the feeling when I do.
I love your smiles that melt my heart,
In my heart you have stolen a huge part.
I love you more than words can say,
                              I love you more everyday.
I loved you than and I love you still,
                              I always will.
                              That will never change.

My favorite time of the day is when Jesse comes home and we can all hang out.  Last night we went out to eat for the first time with him.  Cute little man wanted to be held the whole time, which I was ok with!  I am getting good at eating and holding him.  (Yes you can say that he is spoiled!)  We came home and watched a movie and all cuddled.  It was so fun.  I find myself with tears of gratitude almost everyday for all that I have.

I love this blanket that has his name on it.  The people I nanny for, the dad's mother made it!  It was so nice of her!
I am having a hard time when I go shopping, I want to buy all the cute clothes for him!  I didn't have this problem before he was born.  I think it's cuz I picture his cute little body in the outfits now.  I love the way he looks in his cute outfits for the day....but my absolute favorite is a good comfy pair of pjs!  I love cuddling him up and snuggling.  Pjs are for sure my fav.

This is the first picture he smiled in!!!!  Jesse and I were freaking out at how cute it is.  I love it when I see Jesse taking pictures of him with his phone.  (Which is all the time!)  So cute.

Love.....

Today is our one year anniversary!  Crazy how fast time has flown by.  I love remembering our wonderful day one year ago.  I married the man of my dreams!  Jesse is everything that I ever wanted and more.  Dawson and I love him sooo much!  He is the best husband and dad ever.

We are going to eat some of our cake tonight!
Jesse and I have loved being parents so far!  The other day Jesse gave Dawson a bath all by himself.  I wanted to help, but Jesse said he wanted to do it all by himself.  He said I could supervise a little.  Haha!  I loved listening to Jesse talk to Dawson.  This is what I heard while I was doing my hair in the other room,     "Oh you like baths don't ya buddy!?  Oh, he is peeing!"  Ha ha Jesse did a wonderful job getting him squeaky clean!

The other day we went for a walk and the whole time we both wanted to push Dawson in the stroller, it was hard taking turns.  :)
Jesse loves poking at his cheeks already!  He always says to me...."If his cheeks are red, don't blame me."  I just laugh.  :)
My mom finally held him at 3 weeks old!  She was scared of the oxygen!
 He loves Grandma and Grandpa
 Family pic!
We all had dinner at my moms, so fun!
 I love my baby

We can't get enough of you little guy!  So cute!!!!!!
