Yummy

    This weekend was a good one.  Jesse was able to go snow mobiling with his buddies on Friday and he had a blast.  It's good for him to be able to go and have fun with his friends.  Than on Saturday Jesse let me go to the gym and have lunch with my sisters while he watched Dawson.  He is the best!  Than Saturday night my sisters and mom came over for our service night!  We made a bunch of cupcakes, than we gave some of them to neighbors.  Sometimes it's the small things that can make someone happy!  Yum!  It was really fun getting together and decorating them.

    They turned out really cute!  I think I ate about 6 of them....too yummy! The next day Jesse and I took 2 plates of them to some neighbors.  We chose families with lots of kids, so they'd get eaten up!   I can't wait for next months service night!  Any ideas of what do to????..... um.....

     We also fed Dawson his first bowl of rice cereal!  He loved it!  I was worried because I hear a lot of moms say that their baby hated rice cereal.  Not Dawson!  He snarfed it!  He ate the whole bowl we made of it and probably would have eaten more!  Jesse was so excited to feed him, which I thought was super cute.  We took turns feeding him and took lots of photos!  We like feeding him!

   I can't believe my baby can hold his own bottle now!  I gave him a bottle last night and he held it the whole time!  He is growing up fast.

    Jesse and I are going to take Dawson swimming this week.....Our future swimmer!

  My baby boy is getting so big!  He is doing lots of fun new things.
-  He loves to throw toys, and he throws them far!  Jesse and I laugh so hard.  He already has a good arm!  ha!

2013

   Well it's a new year!  Crazy.  I will have to get use to writing 2013 for sure.  For our new year we spent it with Brody and Piper.  We actually had a fun time.  We took them sledding on Monday and Tuesday.  They absolutly loved it!  Piper would say, "let's go again!"  Right after we got down the hill.  They had this old wooden sled that is awesome!  It fit us all!  We even took Dawson down once.  (That scared me!)  Jesse is going to make this child a dare devil, I just know it.  Dawson seriously amazes me, he would get snow in his face and not even cry, just smile.  What a trooper.  I only got pictures on my phone, so I can't put any up.  They were really cute though!

So I was going through his closet the other day and I found this shirt....

I love this shirt cuz it's the only shirt that Jesse has ever picked out for Dawson!  He bought it when i was pregnant and he wanted it so bad.  I thought it was cute.  

Christmas

      Well Christmas this year was a good one!
  On the Sunday before we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Vaughan's house and it was so fun.  Grandpa read the story of Christ's birth and Dawson was baby Jesus.  We put him in a tiny crib that he was hanging out of.

          I love this picture.  Grandma loves Dawson so much!

     Christmas Eve we went to my mom's house and had yummy soup, opened our pj's, opened one gift, played a ton of games and watched It's a Wonderful Life.  It was perfect.

Than we went to Jesse's parent's house.  We hung out and had a delicious dinner!  We all got cute matching pj's made by Lori!

Anyways....it was a good Christmas.  Hope you all had a good one as well!!!!

Santa and Snow.....

 
   Dawson got to sit on Santa's lap!  Dawson was so cute, he just sat there and smiled.  He is such a happy kid!  Santa told him that he had been a good boy!  So he is coming to our house!

   So This morning I went swimming while Jesse watched Dawson.  I came home and found that Jesse had built him a huge snow slide!  We sent Dawson down and he loved it.  (I was a little worried)  It was cute though, I love seeing these two together.

 I caught a picture of him in the middle of going down the slide!  He was sucking on his sleeve.  Cute little guy!

   This past weekend we went downtown to see the lights.  It was really fun.  Dawson loved it as well, even though he slept most of the time!

Barb, Mel, Jade, my mom and I made ginger bread houses.  It was a really fun night.  We seriously worked on these houses for over two hours!  

This is mine....  They were all teasing me cuz I made a huge wreath in the back!  haha!

    This is Mel's.  We were teasing her and saying she cheated cuz hers was already put together, but hers really is amazing!

 This is Jade's!  Amazing!  She was so hyper and eating so much candy!  At the end she said, "sorry I ate so much candy mom."  She is adorable!

We had too much fun!  According to Jared, Mel got first place, I got second and Barb got third.  Than my mom gave us all a 1st place ribbon and $1.  haha! I love my Momma! 

Santa Baby!  Jesse and I were bored on night, and when that happens we usually have a photo shoot with baby.  :)  Ha ha!  I love that he is by a present!  Jesse and I have fun being parents!  Too much probably!  :)
