Baptism

This weekend was stressful, happy, spiritual, hard, fun and exciting all in one!  Kaylee got baptised on Saturday and it was so neat to be able to go and be a part of her big day.  She got baptised on my what would have been my Dad's birthday, so that was really neat.  She was beaming all day long.  I love baptisms, they remind of the importance of this gospel.

Her headband is made out of Laura's wedding dress.  I think that is so neat!  I should do that with my dress on day!

 Family Picture!

I loved this little chair!  I'm going to have to get him one.  So cute!

I had my nanny kids all weekend, so they came along.  I am SO grateful for Jesse.  He helped a ton this weekend.  I couldn't have done it without him.  He was nice to watch Brody and Piper while I went and watched Kaylee get baptised.  He's a great baby sitter  :)

This picture went blurry, but I thought it was so neat!

It really was a neat day......

 Mother's day.....
This year Mother's Day was wonderful just because it was my first Mother's Day with my Dawson.  He is who made me a Mom and I couldn't be more grateful for him.  He is the light inside me

He brings me sooo much joy.  Mommy loves you Dawson!
I am so grateful for my Mom as well.  Being a Mother now, I now realize the love she has for me.  She has done so much for me and I'm grateful for everything she does.  I love her and hope to be a wonderful Mom like she is.

Iron Man

We just got back from St. George.  Jesse ran the half iron man on Saturday and did amazing!  His time was 5.33 and he got 33rd out of 152 in his age group.  I was a proud wife!  Andy and Cody ran it too and did amazing as well!  So the day started off at 4 a.m. I dropped him off and I went home and tried to sleep a little.  Than Jesse's parents, Jacob, Melanie, Brad, Jennica and Addie came and picked Dawson and I up and we went to watch Jesse!  We waited by the transition for the bike to the run and we almost missed him!  The tracker on our phones was kinda off and I looked up and saw him for one second!  I yelled "GO JESSE!"  He was doing great!
Then we headed to the finish line, we weren't going to almost miss him again!  So we waited here for a very long time!  :)
 Waiting......Go Daddy!

Addie loved sitting up in her car seat!  She is getting so big!  Adorable!

Dawson and Aunt Melanie!
When Jesse was 2 miles away Chuck called me and said, "I'm running with Jesse now, he is two miles out!"  So I pulled out my camera and waited......

 Jesse running in!
Jesse bolted by really fast so I didn't get too many pics.
This is what Dawson looked like when Jesse crossed the finish line....

tuckered out!  Very proud of his Daddy though.
 Great job love!
 The whole gang!
Andy and Jesse!  Good job!

We hung around for a while and let Jesse cool down.  Then we headed to Rose and Jim's and hung out.  Later we went and ate at Iggy's.  Yum!  Jesse's dad bought us all ice cream later, so nice of him!
I had fun watching Addie and Dawson together.... They love each other!

 Holding hands!  Cute!!!

My heart...

My heart breaks for those who have died, lost loved ones, or who have been injuried in the Boston marathon.  I am a runner.  I love running and it is so sad that someone has intentionally hurt others who were just doing something that they loved.  I pray for all of those who have been effected by this.  I pray that we can be stronger and better people.  More loving.
I started running when my Dad died.  It helped me.  It gave me a time to talk to my Father in Heaven and ponder.  I continue to run and love the time it gives me to just think and remember what is important in life.  I am grateful that I can run and I hope that others will continue to run if they find joy in it.  Keep praying.

Run

Yesterday Jesse and I went for a long run.  We made it nine miles.  It felt good but I was super tired!  Jesse's half iron man is coming up soon!  He is going to do great!  It was fun to run with my hubby and just be outside.  Jesse's parents watched Dawson for us, which was really nice of them.  Then after we ate dinner with them and hung out for a bit.
We got a lot done this week.  I did a lot of spring cleaning!  Jesse planted some really pretty flowers in our pots.  He did a good job!
This past week Dawson started to scoot crawl!  He can get anywhere now!  It's pretty slow, but he is good at it!  He also waves hi and bye.  It is the cutest thing ever to see him learning!

Dawson loves bath time!
Jesse and I love his little birth mark on his lower back.  We think it's adorable!
 Cute little butt

So Jesse was looking at Dawson today during church in his car seat and he noticed that his eyes were heavy and he was almost alseep.  I told him to rub the side of his eyes a little.  He was instantly asleep when he did that.  Jesse was amazed.  How did you know that would help?  I said, "cuz i'm his mom."  I've been thinking a lot about that lately.  I love how I really "know" my son.  I love that bond between a mom and her child.

I love that I know you.......
I love that I know when you are tired you like your face lightly rubbed with one finger.
I love that I know that you are not afraid of the dark.  You actually like it.
I love that I know that the stroller is one of your favorite things ever.
I love that I knowt that even if your not tired you will fall asleep in the car.
I love that I know that when you are hungry you won't even cry.
I love that I know that when you are tired you will hum just a little bit.
I love that I know when you are happy you smile with your mouth open.
I love that I know when you are excited you kicks your legs.
I love that I know you are just a little shy.
I love that I know in the night sometimes you just want a hug goodnight.
I love that I know that when you are really really tired you like my face against your face.
I love that I know you love to be sung to, any silly song will do, but church ones are your favorite.
I love that I know that you loves kids, Brody and Piper are your best friends.
I love that I know that you are a people person.
I love that I know that you loves being read to, when I'm done reading and put the book down you might     cry.
I love that I know that you love to be swaddled even though you get out of it.
I love that I know you like dogs and already want one.
I love that I know you are tickalish on your thighs.
I love that I know that you like veggies better than fruit, but will eat anything.
I love that I know you so well.  I Love you so much and I'm so grateful that I am your Mommy.
