Summer is here!

Summer is here and Dawson and I are loving it!  I love the sun and being outside!  I'm teaching Dawson all about summer time and the fun stuff it holds!  We have already done a lot of fun stuff this summer.....
One day we had a pool party, water gun fight and pulled out the slip in slide!  Brody and Piper joined us for the fun day!  Barb her kids and Laura and her kids came over too!  Karen came for a little bit too.

Water fight!  The kids loved soaking everyone!
Kaylee, Rachael, Me, Piper, Brody and Jade.

 Go Rachie!
We had to beg Barb to get her suit on and go down!  She was pretty slow  :)  haha!
I got air!  (I think I went down like 20 times, bruises the next day all over!)  Worth it!
Jesse set it up for us and watched.  ha!  Party pooper

 Brody loved it.

These boys loved the new toy I got Dawson!
It was a fun summer day...

Another fun day was spent at the splash pad.  Piper and Dawson loved it!

This kid is so happy and loving summer as well!!!!  There are many more summer days to come kiddo!  Yeah!

Hike

About a week ago Jesse, Dawson and I went for the first hike of the season!  It was fun.  We strapped Dawson on our back and went up the beautiful mountains!  Dawson loved it....he was very content and happy in the little back pack.  We got lost for a second, and I was freaking out.  haha.  Jesse found the way though, he always does.  The lake was pretty.....

This one is sooo cute.  Daddy and son hanging out.
Dawson actually got really heavy, so Jesse carried him most of the time.

such a fun family outing

This is what I found when I got home from my morning run.....Jesse is such a good babysitter.  :)

He was very proud of himself.....I spelled his name out!
 Dawson loves being outside
he thinks he is a big kid and always wants to feed himself!  This is how he ends up......

Enjoying the samll things....

There is a blog that I follow called Enjoy the samll things.  I think this is so true, we need to enjoy the small things.  So I decided to make a little list of my small things that I love......
1.  I love when Jesse comes home and we all eat dinner together
2.  I love the way Dawson smiles with his mouth open
3.  I love the way I feel after a long run
4.  I love cuddling up with some candy and watching a silly tv show
5.  I love the way Dawson laughs at Piper
6.  I love the way Jesse looks right when he wakes up
7.  I love when Jesse says "We share everything" when he wants a bite of my food
8.  I love the way Dawson gives me hugs
9.  I love the way Jesse covers his mouth with his hand when he laughs at something really funny
10.I love the way our family is a family

I love how our baby sleeps lately......bum up!  :)

Baptism

This weekend was stressful, happy, spiritual, hard, fun and exciting all in one!  Kaylee got baptised on Saturday and it was so neat to be able to go and be a part of her big day.  She got baptised on my what would have been my Dad's birthday, so that was really neat.  She was beaming all day long.  I love baptisms, they remind of the importance of this gospel.

Her headband is made out of Laura's wedding dress.  I think that is so neat!  I should do that with my dress on day!

 Family Picture!

I loved this little chair!  I'm going to have to get him one.  So cute!

I had my nanny kids all weekend, so they came along.  I am SO grateful for Jesse.  He helped a ton this weekend.  I couldn't have done it without him.  He was nice to watch Brody and Piper while I went and watched Kaylee get baptised.  He's a great baby sitter  :)

Kayla and Piper playing in the sand!
My mom loves those bunny ears!  HA!
Trevor was cute on the tramp
This picture went blurry, but I thought it was so neat!

It really was a neat day......

 Mother's day.....
This year Mother's Day was wonderful just because it was my first Mother's Day with my Dawson.  He is who made me a Mom and I couldn't be more grateful for him.  He is the light inside me

He brings me sooo much joy.  Mommy loves you Dawson!
I am so grateful for my Mom as well.  Being a Mother now, I now realize the love she has for me.  She has done so much for me and I'm grateful for everything she does.  I love her and hope to be a wonderful Mom like she is.

Iron Man

We just got back from St. George.  Jesse ran the half iron man on Saturday and did amazing!  His time was 5.33 and he got 33rd out of 152 in his age group.  I was a proud wife!  Andy and Cody ran it too and did amazing as well!  So the day started off at 4 a.m. I dropped him off and I went home and tried to sleep a little.  Than Jesse's parents, Jacob, Melanie, Brad, Jennica and Addie came and picked Dawson and I up and we went to watch Jesse!  We waited by the transition for the bike to the run and we almost missed him!  The tracker on our phones was kinda off and I looked up and saw him for one second!  I yelled "GO JESSE!"  He was doing great!
Then we headed to the finish line, we weren't going to almost miss him again!  So we waited here for a very long time!  :)
 Waiting......Go Daddy!

Addie loved sitting up in her car seat!  She is getting so big!  Adorable!

Dawson and Aunt Melanie!
When Jesse was 2 miles away Chuck called me and said, "I'm running with Jesse now, he is two miles out!"  So I pulled out my camera and waited......

 Jesse running in!
Jesse bolted by really fast so I didn't get too many pics.
This is what Dawson looked like when Jesse crossed the finish line....

tuckered out!  Very proud of his Daddy though.
 Great job love!
 The whole gang!
Andy and Jesse!  Good job!

We hung around for a while and let Jesse cool down.  Then we headed to Rose and Jim's and hung out.  Later we went and ate at Iggy's.  Yum!  Jesse's dad bought us all ice cream later, so nice of him!
I had fun watching Addie and Dawson together.... They love each other!

 Holding hands!  Cute!!!
Iron baby!
We had a wonderful time
